1 Chronicles 29:11Thine, O LORD, [is] the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all [that is] in the heaven and in the earth [is thine]; thine [is] the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.1 Chronicles 29:12Both riches and honour [come] of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand [is] power and might; and in thine hand [it is] to make great, and to give strength unto all.1 Chronicles 29:14But who [am] I, and what [is] my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things [come] of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.1 Chronicles 29:16O LORD our God, all this store that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy name [cometh] of thine hand, and [is] all thine own.1 Chronicles 29:17I know also, my God, that thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:2 Chronicles 6:6But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel.2 Chronicles 6:7Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the name of the LORD God of Israel.2 Chronicles 6:8But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in thine heart to build an house for my name, thou didst well in that it was in thine heart:2 Chronicles 6:9Notwithstanding thou shalt not build the house; which keepest covenant, and [shewest] mercy unto thy servants, that walk before thee with all their hearts:2 Chronicles 6:15Thou which hast kept with thy servant David my father that which thou hast promised him; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and will make it [to be] a proverb and a byword among all nations.2 Chronicles 7:21And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; and they said, The LORD [is] righteous.2 Chronicles 12:7And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; [therefore] I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.2 Chronicles 12:8Nevertheless they shall be his servants; that they may know my service, and the service of the kingdoms of the countries.2 Chronicles 12:9So Shishak king of Egypt came up against Jerusalem, and took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house; and ye [be] a great multitude, and [there are] with you golden calves, which Jeroboam made you for gods.
