Mark 4:10And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.Mark 4:11And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in parables:Mark 4:12That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them.Mark 4:13And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?Mark 4:14The sower soweth the word.Mark 4:15And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.Mark 4:16And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;Mark 4:17And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.Mark 4:18And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,Mark 4:19And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.Mark 4:20And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive [it], and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.Mark 4:21And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?Mark 4:22For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.Mark 4:23If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.Mark 4:24And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.Mark 4:25For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.Mark 4:26And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;Mark 4:27And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.Mark 4:28For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.Mark 4:29But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.Mark 4:30And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?Mark 4:31[It is] like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:Mark 4:32But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.Mark 4:33And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear [it].Luke 6:17And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;Luke 6:18And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.Luke 6:19And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed [them] all.Luke 6:20And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed [be ye] poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.Luke 6:21Blessed [are ye] that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.Luke 6:26Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.Luke 6:27But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,Luke 6:28Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.Luke 6:29And unto him that smiteth thee on the [one] cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloke forbid not [to take thy] coat also.Luke 6:30Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask [them] not again.Luke 6:31And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.Luke 6:32For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.Luke 6:33And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.Luke 6:34And if ye lend [to them] of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.Luke 6:35But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and [to] the evil.Luke 6:36Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.Luke 6:37Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:Luke 6:38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.Luke 6:39And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?Luke 6:40The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.Luke 6:41And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?Luke 6:42Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to pull out the mote that is in thy brother’s eye.Luke 6:43For a good tree bringeth not forth corrupt fruit; neither doth a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.Luke 6:44For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.Luke 6:45A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.Luke 6:46And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?Luke 6:47Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:Luke 6:48He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.Luke 6:49But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
