1 Kings 3:12Behold, I have done according to thy words: lo, I have given thee a wise and an understanding heart; so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.1 Kings 3:13And I have also given thee that which thou hast not asked, both riches, and honour: so that there shall not be any among the kings like unto thee all thy days.1 Kings 3:14And if thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days.1 Kings 3:15And Solomon awoke; and, behold, [it was] a dream. And he came to Jerusalem, and stood before the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and offered up burnt offerings, and offered peace offerings, and made a feast to all his servants.1 Kings 3:16Then came there two women, [that were] harlots, unto the king, and stood before him.1 Kings 3:17And the one woman said, O my lord, I and this woman dwell in one house; and I was delivered of a child with her in the house.1 Kings 3:18And it came to pass the third day after that I was delivered, that this woman was delivered also: and we [were] together; [there was] no stranger with us in the house, save we two in the house.1 Kings 3:19And this woman’s child died in the night; because she overlaid it.1 Kings 3:20And she arose at midnight, and took my son from beside me, while thine handmaid slept, and laid it in her bosom, and laid her dead child in my bosom.1 Kings 3:21And when I rose in the morning to give my child suck, behold, it was dead: but when I had considered it in the morning, behold, it was not my son, which I did bear.1 Kings 3:22And the other woman said, Nay; but the living [is] my son, and the dead [is] thy son. And this said, No; but the dead [is] thy son, and the living [is] my son. Thus they spake before the king.1 Kings 3:23Then said the king, The one saith, This [is] my son that liveth, and thy son [is] the dead: and the other saith, Nay; but thy son [is] the dead, and my son [is] the living.1 Kings 3:24And the king said, Bring me a sword. And they brought a sword before the king.1 Kings 3:25And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other.1 Kings 3:26Then spake the woman whose the living child [was] unto the king, for her bowels yearned upon her son, and she said, O my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, Let it be neither mine nor thine, [but] divide [it].1 Kings 3:27Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she [is] the mother thereof.1 Kings 3:28And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; he also took Basmath the daughter of Solomon to wife:1 Kings 4:16Baanah the son of Hushai [was] in Asher and in Aloth:1 Kings 4:17Jehoshaphat the son of Paruah, in Issachar:1 Kings 4:18Shimei the son of Elah, in Benjamin:1 Kings 4:19Geber the son of Uri [was] in the country of Gilead, [in] the country of Sihon king of the Amorites, and of Og king of Bashan; and [he was] the only officer which [was] in the land.1 Kings 4:20Judah and Israel [were] many, as the sand which [is] by the sea in multitude, eating and drinking, and making merry.1 Kings 4:21And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.1 Kings 4:22And Solomon’s provision for one day was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal,1 Kings 4:23Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl.1 Kings 4:24For he had dominion over all [the region] on this side the river, from Tiphsah even to Azzah, over all the kings on this side the river: and he had peace on all sides round about him.1 Kings 4:26And Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.1 Kings 4:27And those officers provided victual for king Solomon, and for all that came unto king Solomon’s table, every man in his month: they lacked nothing.1 Kings 4:28Barley also and straw for the horses and dromedaries brought they unto the place where [the officers] were, every man according to his charge.1 Kings 4:29And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that [is] on the sea shore.1 Kings 4:30And Solomon’s wisdom excelled the wisdom of all the children of the east country, and all the wisdom of Egypt.1 Kings 4:31For he was wiser than all men; than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, the sons of Mahol: and his fame was in all nations round about.1 Kings 4:32And he spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.1 Kings 4:33And he spake of trees, from the cedar tree that [is] in Lebanon even unto the hyssop that springeth out of the wall: he spake also of beasts, and of fowl, and of creeping things, and of fishes.1 Kings 4:34And there came of all people to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth, which had heard of his wisdom.1 Kings 7:1But Solomon was building his own house thirteen years, and he finished all his house.1 Kings 7:2He built also the house of the forest of Lebanon; the length thereof [was] an hundred cubits, and the breadth thereof fifty cubits, and the height thereof thirty cubits, upon four rows of cedar pillars, with cedar beams upon the pillars.1 Kings 7:3And [it was] covered with cedar above upon the beams, that [lay] on forty five pillars, fifteen [in] a row.1 Kings 7:4And [there were] windows [in] three rows, and light [was] against light [in] three ranks.1 Kings 7:5And all the doors and posts [were] square, with the windows: and light [was] against light [in] three ranks.1 Kings 7:6And he made a porch of pillars; the length thereof [was] fifty cubits, and the breadth thereof thirty cubits: and the porch [was] before them: and the [other] pillars and the thick beam [were] before them.1 Kings 7:7Then he made a porch for the throne where he might judge, [even] the porch of judgment: and [it was] covered with cedar from one side of the floor to the other.1 Kings 7:8And his house where he dwelt [had] another court within the porch, [which] was of the like work. Solomon made also an house for Pharaoh’s daughter, whom he had taken [to wife], like unto this porch.1 Kings 7:9All these [were of] costly stones, according to the measures of hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and [so] on the outside toward the great court.1 Kings 7:10And the foundation [was of] costly stones, even great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits.
