The Word Empowers Marriages Lord Jesus, in order to use the Word of God against the enemy and against temptations in life, I need to know the Word of God. I pray that You will develop in Brad and in I a desire to know Your Word. Give us a hunger for Your truth. Help us to spend time reading Your Scripture and getting to know Your attributes more and more. And let those words be on our lips and in our minds when the enemy or our flesh comes calling. Let them be a reminder of where our power and authority lies. With You, we are able to resist Satanï¿½s schemes and deflect the darts of the devil. Keep us closely tethered to Your Word, Lord Jesus, so that we can use it as an effective weapon of spiritual warfare, just as Christ did in the desert. In Jesusï¿½s name, amen. Thank you for giving Brad and I knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of your divine word. Thank you for instilling the desire in us to know your word. Because your word is you. And you are your word. For it is your word that upholds your power. Thank you Jesus for teaching how to properly ware fare against our adversary in the spiritual sense. I thank you that no weapon the enemy forms against Brad or I shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against shall be condemned in the name of Jesus. Thank you Jesus for keeping us safe. We give you all the honor, the glory, and the praise. Thank you Lord Jesus. Bless my Holy Union with Brad. Bless your Holy Name. Praise your Holy Name. I was in San Francisco last week for medical appointments for my husband and me. Our hotel was on VanNess one block from Polk street, the center of the gay district. I was saddened to see numerous men sleeping in doorways and on the cold hard wet concrete. Many were covered in tarps. It was cold, windy and raining. These men were terribly thin, appeared sick and mentally impaired. With all of the services available in a large city it is difficult to understand how they still can not manage to get help for themselves. Please pray for them. If your prayer warrior is still in California, this is an area where the message of Gods unconditional love is needed. The homeless of VanNess Ave are the modern day untouchables Jesus reached out to heal.
