Hosea 2:7She will pursue her lovers but not catch them; she will seek them but not find them. A man and his father have relations with the same girl and so profane My holy name.Amos 2:8They lie down beside every altar on garments taken in pledge. And in the house of their God, they drink wine obtained through fines.Amos 2:9Yet it was I who destroyed the Amorite before them, though his height was like that of the cedars, and he was as strong as the oaks. Yet I destroyed his fruit above and his roots below.Amos 2:10And I brought you up from the land of Egypt and led you forty years in the wilderness, that you might take possession of the land of the Amorite.Amos 2:11I raised up prophets from your sons and Nazirites from your young men. Is this not true, O children of Israel?” declares the LORD.Amos 2:12“But you made the Nazirites drink wine and commanded the prophets not to prophesy.Amos 2:13Behold, I am about to crush you in your place as with a cart full of grain.Amos 2:14Escape will fail the swift, the strong will not prevail by his strength, and the mighty will not save his life.Amos 2:15The archer will not stand his ground, the fleet of foot will not escape, and the horseman will not save his life.Amos 2:16Even the bravest of mighty men will flee naked on that day,” declares the LORD.Amos 9:9“For surely I will give the command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations as grain is sifted in a sieve; but not a pebble will reach the ground.Amos 9:10All the sinners among My people will die by the sword—all those who say, ‘Disaster will never draw near or confront us.’”Amos 9:11“In that day I will restore the fallen tent of David. I will repair its gaps, restore its ruins, and rebuild it as in the days of old,Amos 9:12that they may possess the remnant of Edom and all the nations that bear My name,” declares the LORD, who will do this.Amos 9:13“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes, the sower of seed. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, with which all the hills will flow.Amos 9:14I will restore My people Israel from captivity; they will rebuild and inhabit the ruined cities. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit.Amos 9:15I will firmly plant them in their own land, never again to be uprooted from the land that I have given them,” says the LORD your God.Obadiah 1:17But on Mount Zion there will be deliverance, and it will be holy, and the house of Jacob will reclaim their possession.Obadiah 1:18Then the house of Jacob will be a blazing fire, and the house of Joseph a burning flame; but the house of Esau will be stubble—Jacob will set it ablaze and consume it. They will occupy the fields of Ephraim and Samaria, and Benjamin will possess Gilead.Obadiah 1:20And the exiles of this host of the Israelites will possess the land of the Canaanites as far as Zarephath; and the exiles from Jerusalem who are in Sepharad will possess the cities of the Negev.Obadiah 1:21The deliverers will ascend Mount Zion to rule over the mountains of Esau. And the kingdom will belong to the LORD.Micah 2:10Arise and depart, for this is not your place of rest, because its defilement brings destruction—a grievous destruction!
