Have I brought them forth, that you should tell me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a nurse carries a nursing infant, to the land which you swore to their fathers?’Numbers 11:13Where could I get meat to give to all this people? We won’t come up.”Numbers 16:41But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, “You have killed Yahweh’s people!”Numbers 17:10Yahweh said to Moses, “Put back the rod of Aaron before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that you may make an end of their murmurings against me, that they not die.”Numbers 17:11Moses did so. For there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul loathes this light bread.”
