Matthew 27:26So Pilate released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed Him over to be crucified.Matthew 27:27Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company around Him.Matthew 27:28They stripped Him and put a scarlet robe on Him.Matthew 27:29And they twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on His head. But this hour belongs to you and to the power of darkness.”Luke 22:63The men who were holding Jesus began to mock Him and beat Him.Luke 22:64They blindfolded Him and kept demanding, “Prophesy! Who hit You?”
