Daniel 3:4Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,Daniel 3:5[That] at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:Daniel 3:6And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.Daniel 3:7Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down [and] worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.Daniel 3:8Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.Daniel 3:9They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.Daniel 3:10Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:Daniel 3:11And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, [that] he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.Daniel 3:12There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.Daniel 3:13Then Nebuchadnezzar in [his] rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.Daniel 3:14Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, [Is it] true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?Daniel 3:15Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; [well]: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who [is] that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?Daniel 3:16Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we [are] not careful to answer thee in this matter.Daniel 3:17If it be [so], our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver [us] out of thine hand, O king.Daniel 3:18But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.Daniel 3:19Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: [therefore] he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.Daniel 3:20And he commanded the most mighty men that [were] in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, [and] to cast [them] into the burning fiery furnace.Daniel 3:21Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their [other] garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.Daniel 3:22Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.Daniel 3:23And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.Daniel 5:22And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this;Daniel 6:1It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes, which should be over the whole kingdom;Daniel 6:2And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel [was] first: that the princes might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.Daniel 6:3Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because an excellent spirit [was] in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm.Daniel 6:4Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he [was] faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.Daniel 6:5Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find [it] against him concerning the law of his God.Daniel 6:6Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.Daniel 6:7All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellers, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.Daniel 6:8Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.Daniel 6:9Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.Hosea 5:10The princes of Judah were like them that remove the bound: [therefore] I will pour out my wrath upon them like water.Hosea 7:3They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.Hosea 10:7[As for] Samaria, her king is cut off as the foam upon the water.Amos 3:10For they know not to do right, saith the LORD, who store up violence and robbery in their palaces.Amos 3:11Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; An adversary [there shall be] even round about the land; and he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.Amos 4:1Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that [are] in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.Amos 4:2The Lord GOD hath sworn by his holiness, that, lo, the days shall come upon you, that he will take you away with hooks, and your posterity with fishhooks.Amos 5:11Forasmuch therefore as your treading [is] upon the poor, and ye take from him burdens of wheat: ye have built houses of hewn stone, but ye shall not dwell in them; ye have planted pleasant vineyards, but ye shall not drink wine of them.Amos 5:12For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate [from their right].Amos 6:12Shall horses run upon the rock? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!Habakkuk 2:7Shall they not rise up suddenly that shall bite thee, and awake that shall vex thee, and thou shalt be for booties unto them?Habakkuk 2:8Because thou hast spoiled many nations, all the remnant of the people shall spoil thee; because of men’s blood, and [for] the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein.Habakkuk 2:9Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil!Habakkuk 2:10Thou hast consulted shame to thy house by cutting off many people, and hast sinned [against] thy soul.
