And Isaac said unto him, Because I said, Lest I die for her.Genesis 26:10And Abimelech said, What [is] this thou hast done unto us? one of the people might lightly have lien with thy wife, and thou shouldest have brought guiltiness upon us.Genesis 26:11And Abimelech charged all [his] people, saying, He that toucheth this man or his wife shall surely be put to death.Genesis 26:26Then Abimelech went to him from Gerar, and Ahuzzath one of his friends, and Phichol the chief captain of his army.Genesis 26:27And Isaac said unto them, Wherefore come ye to me, seeing ye hate me, and have sent me away from you?Genesis 26:28And they said, We saw certainly that the LORD was with thee: and we said, Let there be now an oath betwixt us, [even] betwixt us and thee, and let us make a covenant with thee;Genesis 26:29That thou wilt do us no hurt, as we have not touched thee, and as we have done unto thee nothing but good, and have sent thee away in peace: thou [art] now the blessed of the LORD.Genesis 26:30And he made them a feast, and they did eat and drink.Genesis 26:31And they rose up betimes in the morning, and sware one to another: and Isaac sent them away, and they departed from him in peace.Genesis 27:29Let people serve thee, and nations bow down to thee: be lord over thy brethren, and let thy mother’s sons bow down to thee: cursed [be] every one that curseth thee, and blessed [be] he that blesseth thee.Genesis 27:37And Isaac answered and said unto Esau, Behold, I have made him thy lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants; and with corn and wine have I sustained him: and what shall I do now unto thee, my son?Genesis 38:24And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and also, behold, she [is] with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.Genesis 39:20And Joseph’s master took him, and put him into the prison, a place where the king’s prisoners [were] bound: and he was there in the prison.Genesis 41:33Now therefore let Pharaoh look out a man discreet and wise, and set him over the land of Egypt.Genesis 41:37And the thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.Genesis 41:38And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find [such a one] as this [is], a man in whom the Spirit of God [is]?Genesis 41:39And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, [there is] none so discreet and wise as thou [art]:Genesis 41:40Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou.Genesis 41:41And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.Genesis 41:42And Pharaoh took off his ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck;
