2 Kings 22:3And it came to pass in the eighteenth year of king Josiah, [that] the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, the son of Meshullam, the scribe, to the house of the LORD, saying,2 Kings 22:4Go up to Hilkiah the high priest, that he may sum the silver which is brought into the house of the LORD, which the keepers of the door have gathered of the people:2 Kings 22:5And let them deliver it into the hand of the doers of the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD: and let them give it to the doers of the work which [is] in the house of the LORD, to repair the breaches of the house,2 Kings 22:6Unto carpenters, and builders, and masons, and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house.2 Kings 22:7Howbeit there was no reckoning made with them of the money that was delivered into their hand, because they dealt faithfully.2 Kings 22:8And Hilkiah the high priest said unto Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.2 Kings 22:9And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Thy servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of them that do the work, that have the oversight of the house of the LORD.2 Kings 22:10And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan.2 Chronicles 34:16And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and brought the king word back again, saying, All that was committed to thy servants, they do [it].2 Chronicles 34:17And they have gathered together the money that was found in the house of the LORD, and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers, and to the hand of the workmen.2 Chronicles 34:18Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath given me a book. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go.Jeremiah 40:9And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan sware unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.Jeremiah 40:11Likewise when all the Jews that [were] in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that [were] in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;Jeremiah 41:2Then arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and smote Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land.Jeremiah 43:6[Even] men, and women, and children, and the king’s daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
