Job 21:26They lie down alike in the dust. The worm covers them.Job 21:27“Behold, I know your thoughts, the devices with which you would wrong me.Job 21:28For you say, ‘Where is the house of the prince? They violently take away flocks, and feed them.Job 24:3They drive away the donkey of the fatherless, and they take the widow’s ox for a pledge.Job 24:4They turn the needy out of the way. The poor of the earth all hide themselves.Job 24:5Behold, as wild donkeys in the desert, they go forth to their work, seeking diligently for food. The wilderness yields them bread for their children.Job 24:6They cut their provender in the field. They glean the vineyard of the wicked.Job 24:7They lie all night naked without clothing, and have no covering in the cold.Job 24:8They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for lack of a shelter.Job 24:9There are those who pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor,Job 24:10So that they go around naked without clothing. Being hungry, they carry the sheaves.Job 24:11They make oil within the walls of these men. They tread wine presses, and suffer thirst.Job 24:12From out of the populous city, men groan. The soul of the wounded cries out, yet God doesn’t regard the folly.Job 24:13“These are of those who rebel against the light. They don’t know its ways, nor stay in its paths.Job 24:14The murderer rises with the light. He kills the poor and needy. In the night he is like a thief.Job 24:15The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, ‘No eye shall see me.’ He disguises his face.Job 24:16In the dark they dig through houses. They shut themselves up in the daytime. They don’t know the light.Job 24:17For the morning is to all of them like thick darkness, for they know the terrors of the thick darkness.Job 24:18“They are foam on the surface of the waters. Their portion is cursed in the earth. They don’t turn into the way of the vineyards.Job 24:19Drought and heat consume the snow waters, so does Sheol those who have sinned.Job 24:20The womb shall forget him. The worm shall feed sweetly on him. He shall be no more remembered. Unrighteousness shall be broken as a tree.Job 24:21He devours the barren who don’t bear. He shows no kindness to the widow.Job 24:22Yet God preserves the mighty by his power. He rises up who has no assurance of life.Job 24:23God gives them security, and they rest in it. His eyes are on their ways.Job 24:24They are exalted; yet a little while, and they are gone. Yes, they are brought low, they are taken out of the way as all others, and are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain.Job 27:8For what is the hope of the godless, when he is cut off, when God takes away his life?Job 27:9Will God hear his cry when trouble comes on him?Job 27:10Will he delight himself in the Almighty, and call on God at all times?Job 27:11I will teach you about the hand of God. That which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.Job 27:12Behold, all of you have seen it yourselves; why then have you become altogether vain?Job 27:13“This is the portion of a wicked man with God, the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.Job 27:14If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword. His offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.Job 27:15Those who remain of him shall be buried in death. His widows shall make no lamentation.Job 27:16Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare clothing as the clay;Job 27:17he may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.Job 27:18He builds his house as the moth, as a booth which the watchman makes.Job 27:19He lies down rich, but he shall not do so again. He opens his eyes, and he is not.Job 27:20Terrors overtake him like waters. A storm steals him away in the night.Job 27:21The east wind carries him away, and he departs. It sweeps him out of his place.Job 27:22For it hurls at him, and does not spare, as he flees away from his hand.Job 27:23Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.Job 31:3Is it not calamity to the unrighteous, and disaster to the workers of iniquity?Job 33:14For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention.
