Proverbs 1:24Because I have called, and you have refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no one has paid attention;Proverbs 1:25but you have ignored all my counsel, and wanted none of my reproof;Proverbs 1:26I also will laugh at your disaster. I will mock when calamity overtakes you;Proverbs 1:27when calamity overtakes you like a storm, when your disaster comes on like a whirlwind; when distress and anguish come on you.Proverbs 1:28Then will they call on me, but I will not answer. They will seek me diligently, but they will not find me;Proverbs 1:29because they hated knowledge, and didn’t choose the fear of Yahweh.Proverbs 1:30They wanted none of my counsel. I have led you in straight paths.Proverbs 4:12When you go, your steps will not be hampered. When you run, you will not stumble.Proverbs 4:13Take firm hold of instruction. Don’t let her go. Keep her, for she is your life.Proverbs 4:18But the path of the righteous is like the dawning light, that shines more and more until the perfect day.
