Acts 2:37When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and asked Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?”Acts 2:38Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.Acts 2:39This promise belongs to you and your children and to all who are far off—to all whom the Lord our God will call to Himself.”Acts 2:40With many other words he testified, and he urged them, “Be saved from this corrupt generation.”Acts 3:12And when Peter saw this, he addressed the people: “Men of Israel, why are you surprised by this? And hasn’t he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?”Acts 9:22But Saul was empowered all the more, and he confounded the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.Acts 9:23After many days had passed, the Jews conspired to kill him,Acts 9:24but Saul learned of their plot. Day and night they watched the city gates in order to kill him.Acts 9:25One night, however, his disciples took him and lowered him in a basket through a window in the wall.Acts 9:26When Saul arrived in Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple.Acts 9:27Then Barnabas brought him to the apostles and described how Saul had seen the Lord, who had spoken to him on the road to Damascus, and how Saul had spoken boldly in that city in the name of Jesus.Acts 9:28So Saul stayed with them, moving about freely in Jerusalem and speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.Acts 9:29He talked and debated with the Grecian Jews, but they tried to kill him.Acts 10:42And He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the One appointed by God to judge the living and the dead.Acts 11:19Meanwhile those scattered by the persecution that began with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, speaking the message only to Jews.Acts 11:20But some of them, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks as well, proclaiming the good news about the Lord Jesus.Acts 11:22When news of this reached the ears of the church in Jerusalem, they sent Barnabas to Antioch.
