Acts 14:20But after the disciples had gathered around him, he got up and went back into the city. And the next day he left with Barnabas for Derbe.Acts 14:21They preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples. Therefore what you worship as something unknown, I now proclaim to you.Acts 17:24The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples made by human hands.Acts 17:25Nor is He served by human hands, as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.Acts 17:26From one man He made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands.Acts 17:27God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us.Acts 17:28‘For in Him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are His offspring.’Acts 17:29Therefore, being offspring of God, we should not think that the Divine Being is like gold or silver or stone, an image formed by man’s skill and imagination.Acts 17:30Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all people everywhere to repent.Acts 17:31For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man He has appointed. He spoke and taught accurately about Jesus, though he knew only the baptism of John.Acts 18:26And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.Acts 18:27When Apollos resolved to cross over to Achaia, the brothers encouraged him and wrote to the disciples there to welcome him. On his arrival, he was a great help to those who by grace had believed.Acts 18:28For he powerfully refuted the Jews in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.Acts 19:8Then Paul went into the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.Acts 19:9But when some of them stubbornly refused to believe and publicly maligned the Way, Paul took his disciples and left the synagogue to conduct daily discussions in the lecture hall of Tyrannus.Acts 19:10This continued for two years, so that everyone who lived in the province of Asia, Jews and Greeks alike, heard the word of the Lord.Acts 19:21After these things had happened, Paul resolved in the Spirit to go to Jerusalem, passing through Macedonia and Achaia. “After I have been there,” he said, “I must see Rome as well.”Acts 20:7On the first day of the week we came together to break bread. Since Paul was ready to leave the next day, he talked to them and kept on speaking until midnight.Acts 20:18When they came to him, he said, “You know how I lived the whole time I was with you, from the first day I arrived in the province of Asia.Acts 20:19I served the Lord with great humility and with tears, especially in the trials that came upon me through the plots of the Jews.Acts 20:20I did not shrink back from declaring anything that was helpful to you as I taught you publicly and from house to house,Acts 20:21testifying to Jews and Greeks alike about repentance to God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.Acts 20:22And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.Acts 20:23I only know that in town after town the Holy Spirit warns me that chains and afflictions await me.Acts 20:24But I consider my life of no value to me, if only I may finish my course and complete the ministry I have received from the Lord Jesus—the ministry of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.Acts 20:25Now I know that none of you among whom I have preached the kingdom will see my face again.
