Program Requirements, Assessment & Recognition
An honest educational program needs public standards, supervised practice, transparent rights, and truthful statements about its legal status.
Current status
Born Again Daily offers a free, non-degree pastoral ministry self-study curriculum. The site is not representing this training as accredited, college-level academic credit, ordination, professional counseling qualification, or recognition by a denomination. No independent accreditation or official church endorsement has been established by publishing these pages.
Georgia has a separate religious-institution exemption process, potentially available to qualifying nonprofit religious schools; that is not accreditation. Any future credential offerings will require review of the organization's legal eligibility, permissions, faculty and assessment oversight before representing the training as an approved program.
Proposed requirements for a reviewed completion certificate
- All 16 modules, estimated 240 hours of reading, study and substantive assignments (not college credits).
- All 64 unit studies recorded, with a minimum 80% score on each of 16 learning checks.
- An original written portfolio assessed by qualified human educators, with feedback and revision opportunities.
- At least 60 hours of lawful, properly supervised practice, with independent mentor verification and suitable safeguarding policies.
- Completed safeguarding, pastoral-boundary, financial-ethics and referral assessments.
- Final capstone evaluation and an affirmative, documented human decision under approved and publicly disclosed standards.
No step can be bypassed by a quiz score or self-entered practice hours. Until qualified assessment personnel and legal requirements are in place, the training record is educational progress only and no program certificate is issued.
Assessment rubric
- Biblical interpretation: accuracy of the text, genre, historical setting and honest handling of uncertainty.
- Pastoral judgment: listening, consent, dignity, referral and appropriate boundaries.
- Safeguarding: competence in policy, reporting, privacy and handling potential abuse.
- Leadership integrity: clear finances, documented accountability, nonretaliation and conflicts procedures.
- Practical communication: original, source-grounded teaching with revision in response to feedback.
Student records and fairness
Signed-in members can view their own unit completion, knowledge-check scores, writing assignments and unverified fieldwork entries. These are private learning records; instructors must not request confidential information about third parties. The current system does not collect sensitive pastoral conversations as training evidence. Students should be able to report errors, request corrections and seek independent review of a future formal assessment.
Use the Corrections & Challenges process to report a curricular factual error. Any formal grading appeals system must be implemented before reviewed credentials are awarded.
