Then the man the LORD chooses will be the one who is holy. It is you sons of Levi who have taken too much upon yourselves!”Numbers 16:8Moses also said to Korah, “Now listen, you sons of Levi!Numbers 16:9Is it not enough for you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel and brought you near to Himself to perform the work at the LORD’s tabernacle, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them?Numbers 16:10He has brought you near, you and all your fellow Levites, but you are seeking the priesthood as well.Numbers 16:11Therefore, it is you and all your followers who have conspired against the LORD! As for Aaron, who is he that you should grumble against him?”Numbers 16:41The next day the whole congregation of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron, saying, “You have killed the LORD’s people!”Numbers 16:46Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer, place fire from the altar in it, and add incense. Go quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, because wrath has come out from the LORD; the plague has begun.”Numbers 16:47So Aaron took the censer as Moses had ordered and ran into the midst of the assembly. And seeing that the plague had begun among the people, he offered the incense and made atonement for the people.Numbers 16:48He stood between the living and the dead, and the plague was halted.Numbers 18:1So the LORD said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your father’s house must bear the iniquity involving the sanctuary. Aaron will be gathered to his people and will die there.”Numbers 20:27So Moses did as the LORD had commanded, and they climbed Mount Hor in the sight of the whole congregation.Numbers 20:28After Moses had removed Aaron’s garments and put them on his son Eleazar, Aaron died there on top of the mountain. Then Moses and Eleazar came down from the mountain.Numbers 20:29When the whole congregation saw that Aaron had died, the entire house of Israel mourned for him thirty days.Numbers 33:38At the LORD’s command, Aaron the priest climbed Mount Hor and died there on the first day of the fifth month, in the fortieth year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt.Numbers 33:39Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.Deuteronomy 9:20The LORD was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him, but at that time I also prayed for Aaron.Deuteronomy 9:21And I took that sinful thing, the calf you had made, and burned it in the fire.
