Matthew 10:22You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.Matthew 10:23When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next. It is better for you to enter life crippled or lame than to have two hands and two feet and be thrown into the eternal fire.Matthew 18:9And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.Matthew 18:10See that you do not look down on any of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of My Father in heaven.Matthew 18:15If your brother sins against you, go and confront him privately. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.Matthew 18:16But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’Matthew 18:17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church. Jesus answered, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness,Matthew 19:19honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’”Matthew 20:25But Jesus called them aside and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their superiors exercise authority over them.Matthew 20:26It shall not be this way among you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,Matthew 20:27and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave—Matthew 20:28just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.”Matthew 22:21“Caesar’s,” they answered.
