Mark 9:44Mark 9:45If your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.Luke 10:35The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Take care of him,’ he said, ‘and on my return I will repay you for any additional expense.’Luke 10:36Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”Luke 10:37“The one who showed him mercy,” replied the expert in the law. Guard yourselves against every form of greed, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”Luke 12:16Then He told them a parable: “The ground of a certain rich man produced an abundance.Luke 12:17So he thought to himself, ‘What shall I do, since I have nowhere to store my crops?’Luke 12:18Then he said, ‘This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and will build bigger ones, and there I will store up all my grain and my goods.Luke 12:19Then I will say to myself, “You have plenty of good things laid up for many years. Take it easy. Eat, drink, and be merry!”’Luke 12:20But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be required of you. Then who will own what you have accumulated?’Luke 12:21This is how it will be for anyone who stores up treasure for himself but is not rich toward God.”Luke 12:22Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat, or about your body, what you will wear.
