And sitting down, He taught the people from the boat.Luke 5:4When Jesus had finished speaking, He said to Simon, “Put out into deep water and let down your nets for a catch.”Luke 5:5“Master,” Simon replied, “we have worked hard all night without catching anything. So they went out and got into the boat, but caught nothing that night.John 21:4Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not recognize that it was Jesus.John 21:5So He called out to them, “Children, do you have any fish?” “No,” they answered.John 21:6He told them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it there, and they were unable to haul it in because of the great number of fish.John 21:7Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it) and jumped into the sea.John 21:8The other disciples came ashore in the boat. They dragged in the net full of fish, for they were not far from land, only about a hundred yards.John 21:9When they landed, they saw a charcoal fire there with fish on it, and some bread.John 21:10Jesus told them, “Bring some of the fish you have just caught.”John 21:11So Simon Peter went aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many, the net was not torn.Acts 1:11“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”Acts 2:7Astounded and amazed, they asked, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans?Acts 9:31Then the church throughout Judea, Galilee, and Samaria experienced a time of peace. It grew in strength and numbers, living in the fear of the Lord and the encouragement of the Holy Spirit.
