Exodus 17:12But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side. They have heard that you Yahweh are in the midst of this people; for you Yahweh are seen face to face, and your cloud stands over them, and you go before them, in a pillar of cloud by day, and in a pillar of fire by night.Numbers 14:15Now if you killed this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of you will speak, saying,Numbers 14:16‘Because Yahweh was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore to them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.’Numbers 14:17Now please let the power of the Lord be great, according as you have spoken, saying,Numbers 14:18‘Yahweh is slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness, forgiving iniquity and disobedience; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation.’Numbers 14:19Please pardon the iniquity of this people according to the greatness of your loving kindness, and according as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.”Numbers 14:20Yahweh said, “I have pardoned according to your word:Numbers 14:21but in very deed, as I live, and as all the earth shall be filled with the glory of Yahweh;Numbers 16:20Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,Numbers 16:21“Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment!”Numbers 16:22They fell on their faces, and said, “God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?”Numbers 16:46Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer, and put fire from off the altar in it, and lay incense on it, and carry it quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from Yahweh!
