2 Kings 20:1In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, Set thy house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.2 Kings 20:2Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto Jehovah, saying,2 Kings 20:3Remember now, O Jehovah, I beseech thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.2 Kings 20:4And it came to pass, before Isaiah was gone out into the middle part of the city, that the word of Jehovah came to him, saying,2 Kings 20:5Turn back, and say to Hezekiah the prince of my people, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee; on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of Jehovah.2 Kings 20:6And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David’s sake.2 Kings 20:7And Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.2 Kings 20:8And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that Jehovah will heal me, and that I shall go up unto the house of Jehovah the third day?2 Kings 20:9And Isaiah said, This shall be the sign unto thee from Jehovah, that Jehovah will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?2 Kings 20:10And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to decline ten steps: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten steps.2 Kings 20:11And Isaiah the prophet cried unto Jehovah; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.2 Kings 20:12At that time Berodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah; for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.2 Kings 20:13And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.2 Kings 20:14Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.2 Kings 20:15And he said, What have they seen in thy house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in my house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.2 Kings 20:16And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of Jehovah.2 Kings 20:17Behold, the days come, that all that is in thy house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith Jehovah.2 Kings 20:18And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, whom thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.2 Kings 20:19Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of Jehovah which thou hast spoken. He said moreover, Is it not so, if peace and truth shall be in my days?2 Chronicles 26:22Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write.2 Chronicles 32:32Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his good deeds, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz, in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.Isaiah 1:1The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.Isaiah 2:6For thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they are filled with customs from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they strike hands with the children of foreigners.Isaiah 2:7And their land is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land also is full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots.Isaiah 2:8Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made.Isaiah 2:9And the mean man is bowed down, and the great man is brought low: therefore forgive them not.Isaiah 2:10Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty.Isaiah 2:11The lofty looks of man shall be brought low, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.Isaiah 2:12For there shall be a day of Jehovah of hosts upon all that is proud and haughty, and upon all that is lifted up; and it shall be brought low;Isaiah 2:13and upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,Isaiah 2:14and upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,Isaiah 2:15and upon every lofty tower, and upon every fortified wall,Isaiah 2:16and upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant imagery.Isaiah 2:17And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be brought low; and Jehovah alone shall be exalted in that day.Isaiah 2:18And the idols shall utterly pass away.Isaiah 2:19And men shall go into the caves of the rocks, and into the holes of the earth, from before the terror of Jehovah, and from the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake mightily the earth.Isaiah 2:20In that day men shall cast away their idols of silver, and their idols of gold, which have been made for them to worship, to the moles and to the bats;Isaiah 4:2In that day shall the branch of Jehovah be beautiful and glorious, and the fruit of the land shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped of Israel.Isaiah 4:3And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that remaineth in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among the living in Jerusalem;Isaiah 4:4when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof, by the spirit of justice, and by the spirit of burning.Isaiah 4:5And Jehovah will create over the whole habitation of mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory shall be spread a covering.Isaiah 4:6And there shall be a pavilion for a shade in the day-time from the heat, and for a refuge and for a covert from storm and from rain.Isaiah 5:1Let me sing for my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved had a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:Isaiah 5:2and he digged it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also hewed out a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.Isaiah 5:3And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.Isaiah 5:4What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?Isaiah 5:5And now I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; I will break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:Isaiah 5:6and I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned nor hoed; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.Isaiah 5:7For the vineyard of Jehovah of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for justice, but, behold, oppression; for righteousness, but, behold, a cry.Isaiah 5:8Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no room, and ye be made to dwell alone in the midst of the land!Isaiah 5:9In mine ears saith Jehovah of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.Isaiah 5:10For ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and a homer of seed shall yield but an ephah.Isaiah 5:11Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that tarry late into the night, till wine inflame them!Isaiah 5:12And the harp and the lute, the tabret and the pipe, and wine, are in their feasts; but they regard not the work of Jehovah, neither have they considered the operation of his hands.Isaiah 5:13Therefore my people are gone into captivity for lack of knowledge; and their honorable men are famished, and their multitude are parched with thirst.Isaiah 5:14Therefore Sheol hath enlarged its desire, and opened its mouth without measure; and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth among them, descend into it.Isaiah 5:15And the mean man is bowed down, and the great man is humbled, and the eyes of the lofty are humbled:Isaiah 5:16but Jehovah of hosts is exalted in justice, and God the Holy One is sanctified in righteousness.Isaiah 5:17Then shall the lambs feed as in their pasture, and the waste places of the fat ones shall wanderers eat.Isaiah 5:18Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of falsehood, and sin as it were with a cart rope;
