John 21:4Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not recognize that it was Jesus.John 21:5So He called out to them, “Children, do you have any fish?” “No,” they answered.John 21:6He told them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.” So they cast it there, and they were unable to haul it in because of the great number of fish.John 21:7Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It is the Lord!” As soon as Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it) and jumped into the sea.John 21:20Peter turned and saw the disciple whom Jesus loved following them. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and leaping and praising God.Acts 3:9When all the people saw him walking and praising God,Acts 3:10they recognized him as the man who used to sit begging at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.Acts 3:11While the man clung to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and ran to them in the walkway called Solomon’s Colonnade.Acts 4:1While Peter and John were speaking to the people, the priests and the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to them,Acts 4:2greatly disturbed that they were teaching the people and proclaiming in Jesus the resurrection of the dead.Acts 4:3They seized Peter and John, and because it was evening, they put them in custody until the next day.Acts 4:4But many who heard the message believed, and the number of men grew to about five thousand.Acts 4:5The next day the rulers, elders, and scribes assembled in Jerusalem,Acts 4:6along with Annas the high priest, Caiaphas, John, Alexander, and many others from the high priest’s family.Acts 4:7They had Peter and John brought in and began to question them: “By what power or what name did you do this?”Acts 4:8Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers and elders of the people!Acts 4:9If we are being examined today about a kind service to a man who was lame, to determine how he was healed,Acts 4:10then let this be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.Acts 4:11This Jesus is ‘the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’Acts 4:12Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”Acts 4:13When they saw the boldness of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they marveled and took note that these men had been with Jesus.Acts 4:14And seeing the man who had been healed standing there with them, they had nothing to say in response.Acts 4:15So they ordered them to leave the Sanhedrin and then conferred together.Acts 4:16“What shall we do with these men?” they asked. “It is clear to everyone living in Jerusalem that a remarkable miracle has occurred through them, and we cannot deny it.Acts 4:17But to keep this message from spreading any further among the people, we must warn them not to speak to anyone in this name.”Acts 4:18Then they called them in again and commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus.Acts 4:19But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God’s sight to listen to you rather than God.Acts 8:14When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them.Acts 8:15On their arrival, they prayed for them to receive the Holy Spirit.Acts 8:16For the Holy Spirit had not yet fallen upon any of them; they had simply been baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.Acts 8:17Then Peter and John laid their hands on them, and they received the Holy Spirit.Acts 13:24Before the arrival of Jesus, John preached a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.Acts 13:25As John was completing his course, he said, ‘Who do you suppose I am?
