Nothing will be impossible for you.”Matthew 17:21Matthew 17:24After they had arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the two-drachma tax came to Peter and asked, “Does your Teacher pay the two drachmas?”Matthew 17:25“Yes,” he answered. When Peter entered the house, Jesus preempted him. “What do you think, Simon?” He asked. “From whom do the kings of the earth collect customs and taxes: from their own sons, or from others?”Matthew 17:26“From others,” Peter answered. “Then the sons are exempt,” Jesus said to him.Matthew 17:27“But so that we may not offend them, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take the first fish you catch. When you open its mouth, you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for My tax and yours.”Matthew 20:29As they were leaving Jericho, a large crowd followed Him.Matthew 20:30And there were two blind men sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they cried out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”Matthew 20:31The crowd admonished them to be silent, but they cried out all the louder, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”Matthew 20:32Jesus stopped and called them. “What do you want Me to do for you?” He asked.Matthew 20:33“Lord,” they answered, “let our eyes be opened.”Matthew 20:34Moved with compassion, Jesus touched their eyes, and at once they received their sight and followed Him.Matthew 21:17Then He left them and went out of the city to Bethany, where He spent the night.Matthew 21:18In the morning, as Jesus was returning to the city, He was hungry.Matthew 21:19Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. “May you never bear fruit again!” He said. And immediately the tree withered.Matthew 21:20When the disciples saw this, they marveled and asked, “How did the fig tree wither so quickly?”Matthew 21:21“Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ it will happen.Matthew 21:22If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”Matthew 24:24For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.Mark 1:23Suddenly a man with an unclean spirit cried out in the synagogue:Mark 1:24“What do You want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have You come to destroy us? I know who You are—the Holy One of God!”Mark 1:25But Jesus rebuked the spirit. “Be silent!” He said. “Come out of him!”
