Exodus 19:19And as the sound of the ram’s horn grew louder and louder, Moses spoke and God answered him in the thunder.Exodus 19:20The LORD descended to the top of Mount Sinai and called Moses to the summit. So Moses went up,Exodus 24:10and they saw the God of Israel. Under His feet was a work like a pavement made of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself.Exodus 24:15When Moses went up on the mountain, the cloud covered it,Exodus 24:16and the glory of the LORD settled on Mount Sinai. For six days the cloud covered it, and on the seventh day the LORD called to Moses from within the cloud.Exodus 24:17And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like a consuming fire on the mountaintop in the eyes of the Israelites.Exodus 34:29And when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands, he was unaware that his face had become radiant from speaking with the LORD.Exodus 34:30Aaron and all the Israelites looked at Moses, and behold, his face was radiant. And they were afraid to approach him.Exodus 34:31But Moses called out to them; so Aaron and all the leaders of the congregation returned to him, and Moses spoke to them.Exodus 34:32And after this all the Israelites came near, and Moses commanded them to do everything that the LORD had told him on Mount Sinai.Exodus 34:33When Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face.Exodus 34:34But whenever Moses went in before the LORD to speak with Him, he would remove the veil until he came out. And when he came out, he would tell the Israelites what he had been commanded,Exodus 34:35and the Israelites would see that the face of Moses was radiant. So Moses would put the veil back over his face until he went in to speak with the LORD.Leviticus 9:24Fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. Aaron turned toward her, saw that she was leprous,Numbers 12:11and said to Moses, “My lord, please do not hold against us this sin we have so foolishly committed.Numbers 12:12Please do not let her be like a stillborn infant whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb.”Numbers 12:13So Moses cried out to the LORD, “O God, please heal her!”Numbers 12:14But the LORD answered Moses, “If her father had but spit in her face, would she not have been in disgrace for seven days? Let her be confined outside the camp for seven days; after that she may be brought back in.”Numbers 12:15So Miriam was confined outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on until she was brought in again.Numbers 14:11And the LORD said to Moses, “How long will this people treat Me with contempt? How long will they refuse to believe in Me, despite all the signs I have performed among them?Numbers 16:28Then Moses said, “This is how you will know that the LORD has sent me to do all these things, for it was not my own doing:Numbers 16:29If these men die a natural death, or if they suffer the fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me.Numbers 16:30But if the LORD brings about something unprecedented, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them and all that belongs to them so that they go down alive into Sheol, then you will know that these men have treated the LORD with contempt.”Numbers 16:31As soon as Moses had finished saying all this, the ground beneath them split open,Numbers 16:32and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them and their households—all Korah’s men and all their possessions.Numbers 16:33They went down alive into Sheol with all they owned. The earth closed over them, and they vanished from the assembly.Numbers 16:34At their cries, all the people of Israel who were around them fled, saying, “The earth may swallow us too!”Numbers 16:35And fire came forth from the LORD and consumed the 250 men who were offering the incense.Numbers 16:46Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer, place fire from the altar in it, and add incense. Go quickly to the congregation and make atonement for them, because wrath has come out from the LORD; the plague has begun.”Numbers 16:47So Aaron took the censer as Moses had ordered and ran into the midst of the assembly. And seeing that the plague had begun among the people, he offered the incense and made atonement for the people.Numbers 16:48He stood between the living and the dead, and the plague was halted.Numbers 16:49But those who died from the plague numbered 14,700, in addition to those who had died on account of Korah.Numbers 16:50Then Aaron returned to Moses at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, since the plague had been halted.Numbers 17:1And the LORD said to Moses,Numbers 17:2“Speak to the Israelites and take from them twelve staffs, one from the leader of each tribe. Write each man’s name on his staff,Numbers 17:3and write Aaron’s name on the staff of Levi, because there must be one staff for the head of each tribe.Numbers 17:4Place the staffs in the Tent of Meeting in front of the Testimony, where I meet with you.Numbers 17:5The staff belonging to the man I choose will sprout, and I will rid Myself of the constant grumbling of the Israelites against you.”Numbers 17:6So Moses spoke to the Israelites, and each of their leaders gave him a staff—one for each of the leaders of their tribes, twelve staffs in all. And Aaron’s staff was among them.Numbers 17:7Then Moses placed the staffs before the LORD in the Tent of the Testimony.Numbers 17:8The next day Moses entered the Tent of the Testimony and saw that Aaron’s staff, representing the house of Levi, had sprouted, put forth buds, blossomed, and produced almonds.Numbers 17:9Then Moses brought out all the staffs from the LORD’s presence to all the Israelites. They saw them, and each man took his own staff.Numbers 17:10The LORD said to Moses, “Put Aaron’s staff back in front of the Testimony, to be kept as a sign for the rebellious, so that you may put an end to their grumbling against Me, lest they die.”Numbers 17:11So Moses did as the LORD had commanded him.Numbers 17:12Then the Israelites declared to Moses, “Look, we are perishing! We are lost; we are all lost!Numbers 17:13Anyone who comes near the tabernacle of the LORD will die. Are we all going to perish?”Numbers 20:8“Take the staff and assemble the congregation. You and your brother Aaron are to speak to the rock while they watch, and it will pour out its water. You will bring out water from the rock and provide drink for the congregation and their livestock.”Numbers 20:9So Moses took the staff from the LORD’s presence, just as he had been commanded.Numbers 20:10Then Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly in front of the rock, and Moses said to them, “Listen now, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?”Numbers 20:11Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff, so that a great amount of water gushed out, and the congregation and their livestock were able to drink.Numbers 21:6So the LORD sent venomous snakes among the people, and many of the Israelites were bitten and died.Numbers 21:7Then the people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you. Intercede with the LORD so He will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses interceded for the people.Numbers 21:8Then the LORD said to Moses, “Make a fiery serpent and mount it on a pole. When anyone who is bitten looks at it, he will live.”Numbers 21:9So Moses made a bronze snake and mounted it on a pole. If anyone who was bitten looked at the bronze snake, he would live.
