Numbers 12:7But this is not so with My servant Moses; he is faithful in all My house.Numbers 12:8I speak with him face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD. Why then were you unafraid to speak against My servant Moses?”Numbers 14:2All the Israelites grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt, or if only we had died in this wilderness!Numbers 14:3Why is the LORD bringing us into this land to fall by the sword? Our wives and children will become plunder. Would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt?”Numbers 14:4So they said to one another, “Let us appoint a leader and return to Egypt.”Numbers 14:12I will strike them with a plague and destroy them—and I will make you into a nation greater and mightier than they are.”Numbers 14:13But Moses said to the LORD, “The Egyptians will hear of it, for by Your strength You brought this people from among them.Numbers 14:14And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have already heard that You, O LORD, are in the midst of this people, that You, O LORD, have been seen face to face, that Your cloud stands over them, and that You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night.Numbers 14:15If You kill this people as one man, the nations who have heard of Your fame will say,Numbers 14:16‘Because the LORD was unable to bring this people into the land He swore to give them, He has slaughtered them in the wilderness.’Numbers 14:17So now I pray, may the power of my Lord be magnified, just as You have declared:Numbers 14:18‘The LORD is slow to anger and abounding in loving devotion, forgiving iniquity and transgression. Yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished; He will visit the iniquity of the fathers upon their children to the third and fourth generation.’Numbers 14:19Pardon, I pray, the iniquity of this people, in keeping with the greatness of Your loving devotion, just as You have forgiven them ever since they left Egypt.”Numbers 14:20“I have pardoned them as you requested,” the LORD replied.Numbers 16:4When Moses heard this, he fell facedown.Numbers 16:5Then he said to Korah and all his followers, “Tomorrow morning the LORD will reveal who belongs to Him and who is holy, and He will bring that person near to Himself. The one He chooses He will bring near to Himself.Numbers 16:6You, Korah, and all your followers are to do as follows: Take censers,Numbers 16:7and tomorrow you are to place fire and incense in them in the presence of the LORD. Then the man the LORD chooses will be the one who is holy. It is you sons of Levi who have taken too much upon yourselves!”Numbers 16:8Moses also said to Korah, “Now listen, you sons of Levi!Numbers 16:9Is it not enough for you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel and brought you near to Himself to perform the work at the LORD’s tabernacle, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them?Numbers 16:10He has brought you near, you and all your fellow Levites, but you are seeking the priesthood as well.Numbers 16:11Therefore, it is you and all your followers who have conspired against the LORD! As for Aaron, who is he that you should grumble against him?”Numbers 16:15Then Moses became very angry and said to the LORD, “Do not regard their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them or mistreated a single one of them.”Numbers 16:41The next day the whole congregation of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron, saying, “You have killed the LORD’s people!”Numbers 20:2Now there was no water for the congregation, so they gathered against Moses and Aaron.Numbers 20:3The people quarreled with Moses and said, “If only we had perished with our brothers before the LORD!Numbers 20:4Why have you brought the LORD’s assembly into this wilderness for us and our livestock to die here?Numbers 20:5Why have you led us up out of Egypt to bring us to this wretched place? It is not a place of grain, figs, vines, or pomegranates—and there is no water to drink!”Numbers 20:10Then Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly in front of the rock, and Moses said to them, “Listen now, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?”Numbers 21:4Then they set out from Mount Hor along the route to the Red Sea, in order to bypass the land of Edom. But the people grew impatient on the journeyNumbers 21:5and spoke against God and against Moses: “Why have you led us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread or water, and we detest this wretched food!”Numbers 21:6So the LORD sent venomous snakes among the people, and many of the Israelites were bitten and died.Numbers 27:12Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go up this mountain of the Abarim range and see the land that I have given the Israelites.Numbers 27:13After you have seen it, you too will be gathered to your people, as your brother Aaron was;Numbers 27:14for when the congregation contended in the Wilderness of Zin, both of you rebelled against My command to show My holiness in their sight regarding the waters.” Those were the waters of Meribah in Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin.Numbers 27:22Moses did as the LORD had commanded him. He took Joshua, had him stand before Eleazar the priest and the whole congregation,Numbers 27:23and laid his hands on him and commissioned him, as the LORD had instructed through Moses.Numbers 31:2“Take vengeance on the Midianites for the Israelites. After that, you will be gathered to your people.”Numbers 31:14But Moses was angry with the officers of the army—the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds—who were returning from the battle.Numbers 36:13These are the commandments and ordinances that the LORD gave the Israelites through Moses on the plains of Moab by the Jordan across from Jericho.Deuteronomy 1:3In the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses proclaimed to the Israelites all that the LORD had commanded him concerning them.Deuteronomy 1:9At that time I said to you, “I cannot carry the burden for you alone.Deuteronomy 1:10The LORD your God has multiplied you, so that today you are as numerous as the stars in the sky.Deuteronomy 1:11May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand times over and bless you as He has promised.Deuteronomy 1:12But how can I bear your troubles, burdens, and disputes all by myself?Deuteronomy 1:13Choose for yourselves wise, understanding, and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will appoint them as your leaders.”Deuteronomy 1:14And you answered me and said, “What you propose to do is good.”Deuteronomy 1:15So I took the leaders of your tribes, wise and respected men, and appointed them as leaders over you—as commanders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties, and of tens, and as officers for your tribes.Deuteronomy 1:16At that time I charged your judges: “Hear the disputes between your brothers, and judge fairly between a man and his brother or a foreign resident.Deuteronomy 1:17Show no partiality in judging; hear both small and great alike. Do not be intimidated by anyone, for judgment belongs to God. And bring to me any case too difficult for you, and I will hear it.”Deuteronomy 1:18And at that time I commanded you all the things you were to do.Deuteronomy 1:26But you were unwilling to go up; you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God.Deuteronomy 1:27You grumbled in your tents and said, “Because the LORD hates us, He has brought us out of the land of Egypt to deliver us into the hand of the Amorites to be annihilated.Deuteronomy 1:28Where can we go? Our brothers have made our hearts melt, saying: ‘The people are larger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the heavens. We even saw the descendants of the Anakim there.’”Deuteronomy 1:37The LORD was also angry with me on your account, and He said, “Not even you shall enter the land.Deuteronomy 3:23At that time I also pleaded with the LORD:Deuteronomy 3:24“O Lord GOD, You have begun to show Your greatness and power to Your servant. For what god in heaven or on earth can perform such works and mighty acts as Yours?Deuteronomy 3:25Please let me cross over and see the good land beyond the Jordan—that pleasant hill country as well as Lebanon!”Deuteronomy 3:26But the LORD was angry with me on account of you, and He would not listen to me. “That is enough,” the LORD said to me. “Do not speak to Me again about this matter.Deuteronomy 3:27Go to the top of Pisgah and look to the west and north and south and east. See the land with your own eyes, for you will not cross this Jordan.
