Genesis 12:14So when Abram entered Egypt, the Egyptians saw that the woman was very beautiful.Genesis 12:15When Pharaoh’s officials saw Sarai, they commended her to him, and she was taken into the palace of Pharaoh.Genesis 12:16He treated Abram well on her account, and Abram acquired sheep and cattle, male and female donkeys, menservants and maidservants, and camels.Genesis 12:17The LORD, however, afflicted Pharaoh and his household with severe plagues because of Abram’s wife Sarai.Genesis 12:18So Pharaoh summoned Abram and asked, “What have you done to me? He did not listen to Neco’s words from the mouth of God, but went to fight him on the Plain of Megiddo.2 Chronicles 35:23There the archers shot King Josiah, who said to his servants, “Take me away, for I am badly wounded!”2 Chronicles 35:24So his servants took him out of his chariot, put him in his second chariot, and brought him to Jerusalem, where he died.
