2 Kings 7:12The king arose in the night, and said to his servants, “I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we are hungry. Therefore are they gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, ‘When they come out of the city, we shall take them alive, and get into the city.’”2 Kings 7:13One of his servants answered, “Please let some take five of the horses that remain, which are left in the city. Behold, they are like all the multitude of Israel who are left in it. Behold, they are like all the multitude of Israel who are consumed. Let us send and see.”2 Kings 7:14They took therefore two chariots with horses; and the king sent after the army of the Syrians, saying, “Go and see.”2 Kings 7:15They went after them to the Jordan; and behold, all the way was full of garments and vessels, which the Syrians had cast away in their haste. The messengers returned, and told the king.2 Kings 7:16The people went out, and plundered the camp of the Syrians. Elisha laid his hands on the king’s hands.2 Kings 13:17He said, “Open the window eastward;” and he opened it. Then Elisha said, “Shoot!” and he shot. The daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.2 Kings 19:22Whom have you defied and blasphemed? Against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? Against the Holy One of Israel.2 Kings 19:23By your messengers you have defied the Lord, and have said, ‘With the multitude of my chariots, I have come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon; and I will cut down its tall cedars, and its choice fir trees; and I will enter into his farthest lodging place, the forest of his fruitful field.2 Kings 19:24I have dug and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet will I dry up all the rivers of Egypt.’2 Kings 19:25Haven’t you heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it of ancient times?
