Exodus 16:21They gathered it morning by morning, everyone according to his eating. When the sun grew hot, it melted.Exodus 16:22It happened that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one, and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.Exodus 16:23He said to them, “This is that which Yahweh has spoken, ‘Tomorrow is a solemn rest, a holy Sabbath to Yahweh. Bake that which you want to bake, and boil that which you want to boil; and all that remains over lay up for yourselves to be kept until the morning.’”Exodus 16:24They laid it up until the morning, as Moses asked, and it didn’t become foul, neither was there any worm in it.Exodus 16:25Moses said, “Eat that today, for today is a Sabbath to Yahweh. Today you shall not find it in the field.Exodus 16:26Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day is the Sabbath. In it there shall be none.”Exodus 16:27It happened on the seventh day, that some of the people went out to gather, and they found none.Exodus 16:28Yahweh said to Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?Exodus 16:29Behold, because Yahweh has given you the Sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days. Everyone stay in his place. It is a sin offering.Leviticus 5:10He shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the ordinance; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he has sinned, and he shall be forgiven.Leviticus 5:11“‘But if he can’t afford two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he shall bring his offering for that in which he has sinned, the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering. He shall put no oil on it, neither shall he put any frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.Leviticus 5:12He shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it as the memorial portion, and burn it on the altar, on the offerings of Yahweh made by fire. It is a sin offering.Leviticus 5:13The priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin that he has sinned in any of these things, and he will be forgiven; and the rest shall be the priest’s, as the meal offering.’”Leviticus 16:21Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions, even all their sins; and he shall put them on the head of the goat, and shall send him away into the wilderness by the hand of a man who is in readiness.Leviticus 26:14“‘But if you will not listen to me, and will not do all these commandments;Leviticus 26:15and if you shall reject my statutes, and if your soul abhors my ordinances, so that you will not do all my commandments, but break my covenant;Leviticus 26:16I also will do this to you: I will appoint terror over you, even consumption and fever, that shall consume the eyes, and make the soul to pine away; and you will sow your seed in vain, for your enemies will eat it.Leviticus 26:17I will set my face against you, and you will be struck before your enemies. Even then the land will rest and enjoy its sabbaths.Leviticus 26:35As long as it lies desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it didn’t have in your sabbaths, when you lived on it.Leviticus 26:36“‘As for those of you who are left, I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies: and the sound of a driven leaf will put them to flight; and they shall flee, as one flees from the sword; and they will fall when no one pursues.Leviticus 26:37They will stumble over one another, as it were before the sword, when no one pursues: and you will have no power to stand before your enemies.
