Jeremiah 32:4Zedekiah king of Judah will not escape from the hands of the Chaldeans, but he will surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and will speak with him face to face and see him eye to eye.Jeremiah 32:5He will take Zedekiah to Babylon, where he will stay until I attend to him, declares the LORD. Buy it for yourself.’” Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.Jeremiah 32:9So I bought the field in Anathoth from my cousin Hanamel, and I weighed out seventeen shekels of silver.Jeremiah 32:10I signed and sealed the deed, called in witnesses, and weighed out the silver on the scales.Jeremiah 32:11Then I took the deed of purchase—the sealed copy with its terms and conditions, as well as the open copy—Jeremiah 32:12and I gave this deed to Baruch son of Neriah, the son of Mahseiah, in the sight of my cousin Hanamel and the witnesses who were signing the purchase agreement and all the Jews sitting in the courtyard of the guard.Jeremiah 32:13In their sight I instructed Baruch,Jeremiah 32:14“This is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Take these deeds—both the sealed copy and the open copy of the deed of purchase—and put them in a clay jar to preserve them for a long time.Jeremiah 32:15For this is what the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Houses, fields, and vineyards will again be bought in this land.”Jeremiah 32:16After I had given the deed of purchase to Baruch son of Neriah, I prayed to the LORD:Jeremiah 51:63When you finish reading this scroll, tie a stone to it and cast it into the Euphrates.Daniel 5:5At that moment the fingers of a human hand appeared and wrote on the plaster of the wall, near the lampstand in the royal palace. Nevertheless, I will read the inscription for the king and interpret it for him.Daniel 5:18As for you, O king, the Most High God gave your father Nebuchadnezzar sovereignty and greatness, glory and honor.Daniel 5:19Because of the greatness that He bestowed on him, the people of every nation and language trembled in fear before him. He killed whom he wished and kept alive whom he wished; he exalted whom he wished and humbled whom he wished.Daniel 5:20But when his heart became arrogant and his spirit was hardened with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne, and his glory was taken from him.Daniel 5:21He was driven away from mankind, and his mind was like that of a beast. He lived with the wild donkeys and ate grass like an ox, and his body was drenched with the dew of heaven until he acknowledged that the Most High God rules over the kingdom of mankind, setting over it whom He wishes.Daniel 5:22But you his son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled your heart, even though you knew all this.Daniel 5:23Instead, you have exalted yourself against the Lord of heaven. The vessels from His house were brought to you, and as you drank wine from them with your nobles, wives, and concubines, you praised your gods of silver and gold, bronze and iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you have failed to glorify the God who holds in His hand your very breath and all your ways.Daniel 5:24Therefore He sent the hand that wrote the inscription.Daniel 5:25Now this is the inscription that was written: MENE, MENE, TEKEL, PARSIN.Daniel 5:26And this is the interpretation of the message: MENE means that God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.Daniel 5:27TEKEL means that you have been weighed on the scales and found deficient.Daniel 5:28PERES means that your kingdom has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.”Daniel 6:10Now when Daniel learned that the document had been signed, he went into his house, where the windows of his upper room opened toward Jerusalem, and three times a day he got down on his knees, prayed, and gave thanks to his God, just as he had done before.Hosea 1:2When the LORD first spoke through Hosea, He told him, “Go, take a prostitute as your wife and have children of adultery, because this land is flagrantly prostituting itself by departing from the LORD.”Hosea 1:3So Hosea went and married Gomer daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son.Hosea 1:4Then the LORD said to Hosea, “Name him Jezreel, for soon I will bring the bloodshed of Jezreel upon the house of Jehu, and I will put an end to the kingdom of Israel.Hosea 1:5And on that day I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel.”Hosea 1:6Gomer again conceived and gave birth to a daughter, and the LORD said to Hosea, “Name her Lo-ruhamah, for I will no longer have compassion on the house of Israel, that I should ever forgive them.Hosea 1:7Yet I will have compassion on the house of Judah, and I will save them—not by bow or sword or war, not by horses and cavalry, but by the LORD their God.”Hosea 1:8After she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, Gomer conceived and gave birth to a son.Hosea 1:9And the LORD said, “Name him Lo-ammi, for you are not My people, and I am not your God.Hosea 3:1Then the LORD said to me, “Go show love to your wife again, though she is loved by another and is an adulteress. Love her as the LORD loves the Israelites, though they turn to other gods and love to offer raisin cakes to idols.”Hosea 3:2So I bought her for fifteen shekels of silver and a homer and a lethech of barley.Hosea 3:3Then I said to her, “You must live with me for many days; you must not be promiscuous or belong to another, and I will do the same for you.”Hosea 3:4For the Israelites must live many days without king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, and without ephod or idol.Hosea 6:3So let us know—let us press on to know the LORD. It will remain inside his house and destroy it, down to its timbers and stones.”Zechariah 5:6“What is it?” I asked. And he replied, “A measuring basket is going forth.” Then he continued, “This is their iniquity in all the land.”Zechariah 5:7And behold, the cover of lead was raised, and there was a woman sitting inside the basket.
