Numbers 20:11Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff, so that a great amount of water gushed out, and the congregation and their livestock were able to drink.Numbers 20:12But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust Me to show My holiness in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this assembly into the land that I have given them.”Numbers 20:13These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the LORD, and He showed His holiness among them.1 Kings 19:4while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He sat down under a broom tree and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, LORD,” he said. “Take my life, for I am no better than my fathers.”1 Kings 19:5Then he lay down under the broom tree and fell asleep. Suddenly an angel touched him and said, “Get up and eat.”1 Kings 19:6And he looked around, and there by his head was a cake of bread baked over hot coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank and lay down again.1 Kings 19:7A second time the angel of the LORD returned and touched him, saying, “Get up and eat, or the journey will be too much for you.”1 Kings 19:8So he got up and ate and drank. And strengthened by that food, he walked forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.1 Kings 19:9There Elijah entered a cave and spent the night. And the word of the LORD came to him, saying, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”1 Kings 19:10“I have been very zealous for the LORD, the God of Hosts,” he replied, “but the Israelites have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I am the only one left, and they are seeking my life as well.”1 Kings 19:11Then the LORD said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the LORD. Behold, the LORD is about to pass by.” And a great and mighty wind tore into the mountains and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake.1 Kings 19:12After the earthquake there was a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a still, small voice.1 Kings 19:13When Elijah heard it, he wrapped his face in his cloak and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave. Remember how He told you while He was still in Galilee:Luke 24:7‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.’”Luke 24:8Then they remembered His words.Luke 24:9And when they returned from the tomb, they reported all these things to the Eleven and to all the others.Luke 24:24Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it just as the women had described. It is I Myself. Touch Me and see—for a spirit does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”Luke 24:40And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and feet.John 14:1“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well.
