1 Kings 11:8So he did for all his foreign wives, who burnt incense and sacrificed to their gods.1 Kings 11:9Yahweh was angry with Solomon, because his heart was turned away from Yahweh, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice,1 Kings 11:10and had commanded him concerning this thing, that he should not go after other gods: but he didn’t keep that which Yahweh commanded.1 Kings 11:11Therefore Yahweh said to Solomon, “Because this is done by you, and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and will give it to your servant.1 Kings 17:8The word of Yahweh came to him, saying,1 Kings 17:9“Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there. Or, if it seems good to you, I will give you its worth in money.”1 Kings 21:3Naboth said to Ahab, “May Yahweh forbid me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!”1 Kings 21:4Ahab came into his house sullen and angry because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him; for he had said, “I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers.” He laid himself down on his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.1 Kings 21:5But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said to him, “Why is your spirit so sad, that you eat no bread?”1 Kings 21:6He said to her, “Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite, and said to him, ‘Give me your vineyard for money; or else, if it pleases you, I will give you another vineyard for it.’ He answered, ‘I will not give you my vineyard.’”1 Kings 21:7Jezebel his wife said to him, “Do you now govern the kingdom of Israel? Arise, and eat bread, and let your heart be merry. I will give you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.”1 Kings 21:8So she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters to the elders and to the nobles who were in his city, who lived with Naboth.1 Kings 21:9She wrote in the letters, saying, “Proclaim a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.1 Kings 21:10Set two men, base fellows, before him, and let them testify against him, saying, ‘You cursed God and the king!’ Then carry him out, and stone him to death.”1 Kings 21:11The men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who lived in his city, did as Jezebel had sent to them, according as it was written in the letters which she had sent to them.1 Kings 21:12They proclaimed a fast, and set Naboth on high among the people.1 Kings 21:13The two men, the base fellows, came in and sat before him. Would you like to be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the army?’” She answered, “I dwell among my own people.”2 Kings 4:14He said, “What then is to be done for her?” Gehazi answered, “Most certainly she has no son, and her husband is old.”2 Kings 4:15He said, “Call her.” When he had called her, she stood in the door.2 Kings 4:16He said, “At this season, when the time comes around, you will embrace a son.” She said, “No, my lord, you man of God, do not lie to your handmaid.”2 Kings 4:17The woman conceived, and bore a son at that season, when the time came around, as Elisha had said to her.2 Kings 4:18When the child was grown, it happened one day that he went out to his father to the reapers.2 Kings 4:19He said to his father, “My head! My head!” He said to his servant, “Carry him to his mother.”2 Kings 4:20When he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees until noon, and then died.2 Kings 4:21She went up and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door on him, and went out.2 Kings 4:22She called to her husband, and said, “Please send me one of the servants, and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God, and come again.”2 Kings 4:23He said, “Why would you want go to him today? It is neither new moon nor Sabbath.” She said, “It’s alright.”2 Kings 4:24Then she saddled a donkey, and said to her servant, “Drive, and go forward! Don’t slow down for me, unless I ask you to.”2 Kings 4:25So she went, and came to the man of God to Mount Carmel. It happened, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, “Behold, there is the Shunammite.2 Kings 4:26Please run now to meet her, and ask her, ‘Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the child?’” She answered, “It is well.”
