Galatians 3:10All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”Galatians 3:11Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.”Galatians 3:12The law, however, is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.”Galatians 3:13Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. Even a human covenant, once it is ratified, cannot be canceled or amended.Galatians 3:16The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. The Scripture does not say, “and to seeds,” meaning many, but “and to your seed,” meaning One, who is Christ.Galatians 3:17What I mean is this: The law that came 430 years later does not revoke the covenant previously established by God, so as to nullify the promise.Galatians 3:18For if the inheritance depends on the law, then it no longer depends on a promise; but God freely granted it to Abraham through a promise.Galatians 3:19Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the seed to whom the promise referred. It was administered through angels by a mediator.Galatians 3:20A mediator is unnecessary, however, for only one party; but God is one.Galatians 3:21Is the law, then, opposed to the promises of God? Certainly not! For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come from the law.Galatians 3:22But the Scripture pronounces all things confined by sin, so that by faith in Jesus Christ the promise might be given to those who believe.Galatians 3:23Before this faith came, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until faith should be revealed.Galatians 3:24So the law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.Galatians 3:25Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.Galatians 3:26You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.Galatians 3:27For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.Galatians 3:28There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.Galatians 3:29And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.Galatians 4:9But now that you know God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you are turning back to those weak and worthless principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?Galatians 4:10You are observing special days and months and seasons and years!Galatians 4:11I fear for you, that my efforts for you may have been in vain.Galatians 5:2Take notice: I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.Galatians 5:4You who are trying to be justified by the law have been severed from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.Galatians 5:6For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. What matters is faith expressing itself through love.Galatians 5:18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.Galatians 6:4Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else.Galatians 6:15For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation.Ephesians 2:8For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God,Ephesians 2:9not by works, so that no one can boast.Ephesians 2:10For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.Philippians 1:11filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.Philippians 2:13For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.Philippians 3:3For it is we who are the circumcision, we who worship by the Spirit of God, who glory in Christ Jesus, and who put no confidence in the flesh—Philippians 3:4though I myself could have such confidence. If anyone else thinks he has grounds for confidence in the flesh, I have more:Philippians 3:5circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin; a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee;Philippians 3:6as to zeal, persecuting the church; as to righteousness in the law, faultless.Philippians 3:7But whatever was gain to me I count as loss for the sake of Christ.Philippians 3:8More than that, I count all things as loss compared to the surpassing excellence of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain ChristPhilippians 3:9and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God on the basis of faith.Colossians 1:10so that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,Colossians 2:20If you have died with Christ to the spiritual forces of the world, why, as though you still belonged to the world, do you submit to its regulations:Colossians 2:21“Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch!”?Colossians 2:22These will all perish with use, because they are based on human commands and teachings.Colossians 2:23Such restrictions indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-prescribed worship, their false humility, and their harsh treatment of the body; but they are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.Colossians 3:12Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, clothe yourselves with hearts of compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.Colossians 3:13Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else.
