_London, Dec. 5, 1742._ _My Lord_,

AS your Lordship was pleased to contribute towards the Orphan-house in _Georgia_, I think your Lordship has a right to hear how that undertaking succeeds. I have made bold to send your Lordship the accounts of it, which are published. Since the last was printed, I have collected about 300 _l._ and have heard that my family are all safe at the Orphan-house. I have also taken the freedom of sending your Lordship my last volume of sermons; in accepting of which, your Lordship will much oblige
