SERMON XVII.
And cast ye the improfitable servant into utter darkness : there shall he loeeping and gnashing of teeth. — Mat. XXV. 30.
In these words is fhe positive part of the sentence ; the master doth not only take away the talent, but condemneth him to eternal torments. In them take notice — (1.) Of the reason of the punishment ; and then, (2.) The punishment itself.
