Hast thou not known ? hast thou not heard, that the ever- lasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary : there is no searching of his understanding ? He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might, he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall : but they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength ; they shall mount up on wings as eagles ; they shall " run and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint V " Know, then, in whom you have believed ; that He is both able and willing to keep that which you have committed to him c." And let not any dangers, however imminent, appal you. " Say not ye, A confederacy, to all them to whom others shall say, A confede- racy ; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid : but sanctify the Lord of Hosts himself: and let him be your fear, and let him be your dread: and he will be to you for a sanctuary d."
