TLav Kriff^a — h auroTg, every creature — in them) All the works of the Lord in all places of His dominion : Ps. ciii. 22. — xa / ra sv ubroTg, rruvrug ijxovffa Xsyovrug) This reading is supported by the greater num- ber of copies.1 A few have changed nuvrug, or even Xsyovrag, into the neuter. Ta h abroTg is put absolutely, as ch. x. 6. And this, -rai/ras #xov<ra XsyovToiC) admirably comprises the harmonious song of all the inhabitants whom the four quarters in the universe contain.
14. Ka /' ‘TTpottHvvriffav) With this word the paragraph ends in all the copies. See App. Crit., Ed. ii., on this passage. It is the part of piety to cut out such additions, fear being laid aside.2 The shorter reading, xa/ •zrpotfgxuMja’av, and they worshipped , denotes the worship paid both to Him that sitteth upon the throne and unto the Lamb. Comp. ver. 13. npoaxoviTv is often put absolutely : ch. xi. 1 ; John iv. 20, xii. 20.
