ITeſtifying their grief for God's departure, their reſpe& to Moſes whom they had larely deſpiſed, their earneſt defire of his interceſſion for them, their longing for God's favour, and their humble expeCta- tion of a gracious return from God by the hands of Moſes.
9 Andit came to paſs as Moſes entred into the taber-
nacle, the cloudy pillar deſcended 2, and ſtood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moſes
7 Whereby God teſtified his approbation of Moſes, and of that which Moſes had done, which might ſeem to ſome ſevere and cruel.
