This is Altar-Individua- tion toall Chriſtians ; God had but one Altar under the Law, and he prohibited all others; and complained of, and threatned the 1n- creaſe of them, Exod. 20. 24, 25, 26. and 27, I, 2. 2 Chron. 4 1. This one Altar did Type out that tric one of Chriſt, by which only Sinners can come to God, and find acceptance. x Of this Altar-Priviledges, all Jews or Judaifing Chriſtians, who adhered to the Moſaical Adminiſtration of the Co- venant in Meats and Ceremonies, have no lawful Right, or Title to partake ;, they cannot have this Honour, while they cleave t0 them, becauſe they thereby deny*this Altar, reje& the Son of God, and are 1n it rejected by him.
