Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed

What is it?

The creed confesses one God, Jesus Christ as truly divine, and the Holy Spirit, with its received form associated with Nicaea and Constantinople.

Why it matters

It remains the most widely shared formal creed among Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican and many Protestant churches.
