Pray the Lord’s Prayer slowly, pausing after each phrase.
Talk to God about the real thing
Tell God what you understood, where you resist it, what you need help changing, and who else needs prayer today. Do not perform. Be specific.

Prayer does not deny anxiety; it gives anxiety somewhere to go while thanksgiving remembers what is also true.
