Portfolio and Teaching Plan
Study passage: 2 Timothy 2:15. Read the whole surrounding chapter before relying on this unit.
Teaching and interpretation
A credible portfolio includes work that another teacher can examine. Gather a passage study, a sermon draft, a revised teaching sample, a lesson plan, and an honest account of feedback. Cite sources and identify borrowed illustrations. Work from Scripture and historical primary texts; do not pass an automated paraphrase or another minister's sermon off as an original manuscript.
Pastoral case to discuss
A student submits a polished sermon copied from an online preacher. What must be corrected before it can be assessed?
Describe the relevant facts and what you would still need to know. Do not present assumptions as the person's motives, diagnose a disorder or make unverified claims about Scripture.
Required practical exercise
Compile a portfolio index with five original artifacts, source notes, revisions and the purpose of each.
Support your answers with passages in context and distinguish biblical teaching, historical interpretation, modern professional standards and personal judgment. Keep real people's details confidential.
