Baptism is a commanded Christian practice associated in the New Testament with discipleship, repentance, faith, union with Christ, entry into Christian community, and public identification with Jesus. It should not be treated as meaningless.
Read the baptism passages rather than beginning with a denominational slogan. Notice both the strong language Scripture uses and the different situations in Acts and the letters.
Open the passages. Read the surrounding chapters. Compare translations. Search related passages. If our summary does not survive that process, tell us. Authority should be earned through transparent work, not demanded through branding.
