Exodus 17:1And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, by their journeys, according to the commandment of Jehovah, and encamped in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.Exodus 17:2Wherefore the people strove with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why strive ye with me? wherefore do ye tempt Jehovah?Exodus 17:3And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore hast thou brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?Exodus 17:4And Moses cried unto Jehovah, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they are almost ready to stone me.Exodus 17:5And Jehovah said unto Moses, Pass on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thy hand, and go.Exodus 17:6Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. and ye shall be gathered together within your cities: and I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.Leviticus 26:26When I break your staff of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.Leviticus 26:27And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;Leviticus 26:28then I will walk contrary unto you in wrath; and I also will chastise you seven times for your sins.Leviticus 26:29And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.Leviticus 26:30And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your sun-images, and cast your dead bodies upon the bodies of your idols; and my soul shall abhor you.Leviticus 26:31And I will make your cities a waste, and will bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savor of your sweet odors.Leviticus 26:32And I will bring the land into desolation; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy its sabbaths.Leviticus 26:35As long as it lieth desolate it shall have rest, even the rest which it had not in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.Leviticus 26:36And as for them that are left of you, I will send a faintness into their heart in the lands of their enemies: and the sound of a driven leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as one fleeth from the sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.Leviticus 26:37And they shall stumble one upon another, as it were before the sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.Leviticus 26:38And ye shall perish among the nations, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.Leviticus 26:39And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies’ lands; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.Deuteronomy 28:23And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.Deuteronomy 28:24Jehovah will make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.Deuteronomy 28:25Jehovah will cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies; thou shalt go out one way against them, and shalt flee seven ways before them: and thou shalt be tossed to and from among all the kingdoms of the earth.
