Genesis 35:2So Jacob told his household and all who were with him, “Get rid of the foreign gods that are among you. If the report is true and such an abomination has happened in Israel,Deuteronomy 17:5you must bring out to your gates the man or woman who has done this evil thing, and you must stone that person to death.Deuteronomy 18:10Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, practices divination or conjury, interprets omens, practices sorcery,Deuteronomy 27:15‘Cursed is the man who makes a carved idol or molten image—an abomination to the LORD, the work of the hands of a craftsman—and sets it up in secret.’ And let all the people say, ‘Amen!’Deuteronomy 28:15If, however, you do not obey the LORD your God by carefully following all His commandments and statutes I am giving you today, all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:Deuteronomy 28:16You will be cursed in the city and cursed in the country.
