Exodus 15:1Then Moses and the Israelites sang this song to the LORD: “I will sing to the LORD, for He is highly exalted. The horse and rider He has thrown into the sea.Exodus 15:2The LORD is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.Exodus 15:3The LORD is a warrior, the LORD is His name.Exodus 15:4Pharaoh’s chariots and army He has cast into the sea; the finest of his officers are drowned in the Red Sea.Exodus 15:5The depths have covered them; they sank there like a stone.Exodus 15:6Your right hand, O LORD, is majestic in power; Your right hand, O LORD, has shattered the enemy.Exodus 15:7You overthrew Your adversaries by Your great majesty. You unleashed Your burning wrath; it consumed them like stubble.Exodus 15:8At the blast of Your nostrils the waters piled up; like a wall the currents stood firm; the depths congealed in the heart of the sea.Exodus 15:9The enemy declared, ‘I will pursue, I will overtake. By the power of Your arm they will be as still as a stone until Your people pass by, O LORD, until the people You have bought pass by.Exodus 15:17You will bring them in and plant them on the mountain of Your inheritance—the place, O LORD, You have prepared for Your dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, Your hands have established.Exodus 15:18The LORD will reign forever and ever!”Exodus 15:19For when Pharaoh’s horses, chariots, and horsemen went into the sea, the LORD brought the waters of the sea back over them. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom, and You are exalted as head over all.1 Chronicles 29:12Both riches and honor come from You, and You are the ruler over all. In Your hands are power and might to exalt and give strength to all.1 Chronicles 29:13Now therefore, our God, we give You thanks, and we praise Your glorious name.1 Chronicles 29:14But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? For everything comes from You, and from Your own hand we have given to You.1 Chronicles 29:15For we are foreigners and strangers in Your presence, as were all our forefathers. Our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.1 Chronicles 29:16O LORD our God, from Your hand comes all this abundance that we have provided to build You a house for Your holy Name, and all of it belongs to You.1 Chronicles 29:17I know, my God, that You test the heart and delight in uprightness. All these things I have given willingly and with an upright heart, and now I have seen Your people who are present here giving joyfully and willingly to You.1 Chronicles 29:18O LORD, God of our fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, keep this desire forever in the intentions of the hearts of Your people, and direct their hearts toward You.1 Chronicles 29:19And give my son Solomon a whole heart to keep and carry out all Your commandments, decrees, and statutes, and to build Your palace for which I have made provision.”2 Chronicles 7:10On the twenty-third day of the seventh month, Solomon sent the people away to their homes, joyful and glad of heart for the good things that the LORD had done for David, for Solomon, and for His people Israel.
