Exodus 10:29“As you say,” Moses replied, “I will never see your face again.”Exodus 11:8And all these officials of yours will come and bow before me, saying, ‘Go, you and all the people who follow you!’ After that, I will depart.” And hot with anger, Moses left Pharaoh’s presence.Exodus 16:6So Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, “This evening you will know that it was the LORD who brought you out of the land of Egypt,Exodus 16:7and in the morning you will see the LORD’s glory, because He has heard your grumbling against Him. As for this Moses who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has happened to him!’Exodus 32:24So I said to them, ‘Whoever has gold, let him take it off,’ and they gave it to me. And when I threw it into the fire, out came this calf!”Exodus 32:25Moses saw that the people were out of control, for Aaron had let them run wild and become a laughingstock to their enemies.Exodus 32:26So Moses stood at the entrance to the camp and said, “Whoever is for the LORD, come to me.” And all the Levites gathered around him.Exodus 32:27He told them, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: ‘Each of you men is to fasten his sword to his side, go back and forth through the camp from gate to gate, and slay his brother, his friend, and his neighbor.’”Exodus 32:28The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people fell dead.Exodus 32:29Afterward, Moses said, “Today you have been ordained for service to the LORD, since each man went against his son and his brother; so the LORD has bestowed a blessing on you this day.”Exodus 32:30The next day Moses said to the people, “You have committed a great sin. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land on which he has set foot, because he followed the LORD wholeheartedly.”Deuteronomy 1:37The LORD was also angry with me on your account, and He said, “Not even you shall enter the land.Deuteronomy 1:38Joshua son of Nun, who stands before you, will enter it. Encourage him, for he will enable Israel to inherit the land.Deuteronomy 1:39And the little ones you said would become captives—your children who on that day did not know good from evil—will enter the land that I will give them, and they will possess it.Deuteronomy 1:40But you are to turn back and head for the wilderness along the route to the Red Sea.”Deuteronomy 1:41“We have sinned against the LORD,” you replied. “We will go up and fight, as the LORD our God has commanded us.” Then each of you put on his weapons of war, thinking it easy to go up into the hill country.Deuteronomy 1:42But the LORD said to me, “Tell them not to go up and fight, for I am not with you to keep you from defeat by your enemies.”Deuteronomy 1:43So I spoke to you, but you would not listen. You rebelled against the command of the LORD and presumptuously went up into the hill country.Deuteronomy 9:16And I saw how you had sinned against the LORD your God; you had made for yourselves a molten calf. You had turned aside quickly from the way that the LORD had commanded you.Deuteronomy 9:17So I took the two tablets and threw them out of my hands, shattering them before your eyes.Deuteronomy 9:18Then I fell down before the LORD for forty days and forty nights, as I had done the first time. I did not eat bread or drink water because of all the sin you had committed in doing what was evil in the sight of the LORD and provoking Him to anger.Deuteronomy 9:19For I was afraid of the anger and wrath that the LORD had directed against you, enough to destroy you. But the LORD listened to me this time as well.Deuteronomy 9:20The LORD was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him, but at that time I also prayed for Aaron.Deuteronomy 9:21And I took that sinful thing, the calf you had made, and burned it in the fire. Then I crushed it and ground it to powder as fine as dust, and I cast it into the stream that came down from the mountain.Deuteronomy 9:22You continued to provoke the LORD at Taberah, at Massah, and at Kibroth-hattaavah.Deuteronomy 9:23And when the LORD sent you out from Kadesh-barnea, He said, “Go up and possess the land that I have given you.” But you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God. You neither believed Him nor obeyed Him.Deuteronomy 9:24You have been rebelling against the LORD since the day I came to know you.Deuteronomy 29:2Moses summoned all Israel and proclaimed to them, “You have seen with your own eyes everything the LORD did in Egypt to Pharaoh, to all his officials, and to all his land.Deuteronomy 29:3You saw with your own eyes the great trials, and those miraculous signs and wonders.Deuteronomy 29:4Yet to this day the LORD has not given you a mind to understand, eyes to see, or ears to hear.Deuteronomy 31:27For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are.
