Haggai 1:5Now this is what the LORD of Hosts says: “Consider carefully your ways.Haggai 1:6You have planted much but harvested little. You eat but never have enough. You drink but never have your fill. You put on clothes but never get warm. Answer Me!”Mark 11:31They deliberated among themselves what they should answer: “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will ask, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’Mark 11:32But if we say, ‘From men’...” they were afraid of the people, for they all held that John truly was a prophet.Mark 11:33So they answered, “We do not know.” And Jesus replied, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”Mark 12:35While Jesus was teaching in the temple courts, He asked, “How can the scribes say that the Christ is the Son of David?Mark 12:36Speaking by the Holy Spirit, David himself declared: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand until I put Your enemies under Your feet.”’Mark 12:37David himself calls Him ‘Lord.’ So how can He be David’s son?” And the large crowd listened to Him with delight.
