Numbers 22:15Then Balak sent other princes, more numerous and more distinguished than the first messengers.Numbers 22:16They came to Balaam and said, “This is what Balak son of Zippor says: ‘Please let nothing hinder you from coming to me,Numbers 22:17for I will honor you richly and do whatever you say. He found him sitting under an oak tree and asked, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?” “I am,” he replied.1 Kings 13:15So the prophet said to the man of God, “Come home with me and eat some bread.”1 Kings 13:16But the man replied, “I cannot go home with you, and I will not eat bread or drink water with you in this place.1 Kings 13:17For I have been told by the word of the LORD: ‘You must not eat bread or drink water there or return by the way you came.’”1 Kings 13:18Then the prophet replied, “I too am a prophet like you, and an angel spoke to me by the word of the LORD, saying, ‘Bring him back with you to your house, so that he may eat bread and drink water.’” The old prophet was lying to him,1 Kings 13:19but the man of God went back with him, ate bread in his house, and drank water.1 Kings 15:30because of the sins Jeroboam had committed and had caused Israel to commit, and because he had provoked the LORD, the God of Israel, to anger.2 Kings 20:12At that time Merodach-baladan son of Baladan king of Babylon sent letters and a gift to Hezekiah, for he had heard about Hezekiah’s illness.2 Kings 20:13And Hezekiah received the envoys and showed them all that was in his treasure house—the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil, as well as his armory—all that was found in his storehouses. There was nothing in his palace or in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.2 Kings 20:14Then the prophet Isaiah went to King Hezekiah and asked, “Where did those men come from, and what did they say to you?” “They came from a distant land,” Hezekiah replied, “from Babylon.”2 Kings 20:15“What have they seen in your palace?” Isaiah asked. “They have seen everything in my palace,” answered Hezekiah. “There is nothing among my treasures that I did not show them.”2 Kings 20:16Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of the LORD:2 Kings 20:17The time will surely come when everything in your palace and all that your fathers have stored up until this day will be carried off to Babylon. Nothing will be left, says the LORD.2 Kings 20:18And some of your descendants, your own flesh and blood, will be taken away to be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.”2 Kings 20:19But Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “The word of the LORD that you have spoken is good.” For he thought, “Will there not at least be peace and security in my lifetime?”2 Kings 20:20As for the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, along with all his might and how he constructed the pool and the tunnel to bring water into the city, are they not written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah?1 Chronicles 21:1Then Satan rose up against Israel and incited David to take a census of Israel.2 Chronicles 32:30It was Hezekiah who blocked the upper outlet of the Spring of Gihon and channeled it down to the west side of the City of David. They put the servants to the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you!”Job 1:16While he was still speaking, another messenger came and reported: “The fire of God fell from heaven. It burned and consumed the sheep and the servants, and I alone have escaped to tell you!”
