3. ’l<3oi)) It is unnecessary to understand the verb !<rr/, Behold the tabernacle of God is with men : for Jdov even by itself points out the fact, as for instance ch. xix. 11, and repeatedly. — Vgr’ avrcbv) Vigilius of Thapsus , under the name of Idacius Clarus, has, with them , on the earth. John saw the city coming down out of heaven from God, but he does not add, to the earth.
5. Ka/i/« cr dvra gtoioj2) A more ancient reading is, xaiva rroiu rruvra; and xa/va cro/w answers to the single word fc^in, and ought not to be separated. This is a word implying publication, and not com- mand.

T off) The Dative expresses the Hebrew : that is, as far as relates to the fearful, etc. So the word abru v, their , shortly after- wards, coheres with this. — 5<pap/j;axo?g, sorcerers) ydp^uxov is a word of middle signification ; but it is often used, together with its deri- vatives, to signify injurious medicine, witchcraft, wdiich often sets itself off as salutary to men and beasts, but it is most pestilential, whether taken by itself, or even when joined with an express com- pact or secret intercourse with devils. Hence it is joined with idolatry , Gal. v. 20.

Gen. vi. 16) means a part in a building which is open to the air, or admitting the light of the sun (dDSy), as win- dows are, or spaces between the (t<xd X^ug) battlements of the walls : or, (puGrrip is Xvyyog, ver. 23. <3>uGrr,p is not compounded of <pug and rqpoj) but it is a word derived from its own root.
