When You Need to Forgive—or Be Forgiven
Forgiveness is central to Christian life, but it is not pretending harm was harmless. Repentance, mercy, truth, consequences, trust, and reconciliation are related but not identical.
Start with Scripture, not a slogan
Read the surrounding chapter whenever you can. A verse can be true and still be misused when it is pulled away from the argument, poem, story, or situation it belongs to.
